The House That Remembers You takes readers on a complex exploration of memory and identity while examining how selfhood can change. A mysterious Wanderer discovers a door in an empty field which leads them to a house breaking physical laws with rooms that move out of sight and mirrors showing unfamiliar versions of themselves while the line between self and space fades away.
The book results from my collaboration with an anonymous co-author whose life experiences established the basis of this surreal exploration of consciousness architecture.
A Different Kind of Reading Experience
This isn't a conventional novel. The narrative structure of the text takes on a labyrinthine design with:
- Reversed and inverted passages
- The intentional use of typographical spacing alters how you read the text.
- The story employs hieroglyphic symbols alongside mathematical equations to serve as narrative devices.
- The novel features a non-linear narrative that folds back on itself in a looping structure.
The novel's structure reflects its theme where the house retains memories of you even when you've lost them.
